Holden, MA – September 2024 – Oriol Health Care is proud to announce that Nathan Oriol, Director of Finance and licensed Nursing Home Administrator, has been selected by the American Health Care Association (AHCA) and the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) as a Future Leader in Long Term and Post-Acute Care. This prestigious recognition is part of the AHCA/NCAL’s Future Leaders program, a year-long initiative aimed at nurturing and developing leadership skills in the next generation of professionals within the long-term care industry.
Nathan Oriol’s selection for the program is a testament to his exemplary leadership at the state level and his potential to take on significant roles within the AHCA/NCAL. Throughout the program, Nathan will receive extensive training, mentorship, and development opportunities designed to enhance his leadership abilities and broaden his impact in the long-term care sector. The program will kick off with a two-day symposium in Washington, DC, where participants will immerse themselves in the latest theories and practices in quality management, customer satisfaction, and leadership.

Nathan Oriol began his career at Oriol Health Care at the age of 16, working in the kitchen of Holden Nursing Home. His passion for long-term care led him to progressively take on more significant roles, eventually serving as the Administrator at Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center from 2013 to 2022. Currently, Nathan serves as the Director of Finance for Oriol Health Care, Administrator of Oriol Home Health and President of the Oriol Foundation. Nathan holds a bachelor’s degree in health management and policy from the University of New Hampshire and earned his Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from Assumption University in 2023.
The AHCA/NCAL Future Leaders program, established in 2004, is designed to cultivate leadership skills in long-term care professionals and prepare them for future roles within the organization and the broader industry. Participants are selected based on their leadership potential and commitment to representing the interests of long-term care providers at both the state and national levels.
