She oversees Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing, Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing, and Oriol Home Health, aiming to streamline integrated post-acute care. With over 25 years in healthcare, including 20 years as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Tara brings extensive experience and dedication to her role. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Worcester State University and an MBA with a dual concentration in Management and Healthcare Management from Fitchburg State University. Tara is committed to enhancing patient care through comprehensive health services.

Christine Oriol Mahoney, QA Manager and Clinical Manager Emerita at Oriol Home Health, brings over 40 years of nursing experience. With a BSN from Worcester State University, she has cared for patients across all life stages and settings. Specializing in palliative care and home health, she holds certifications from UMass and OASIS Answers. Christine has played a crucial role in establishing Oriol Home Health, achieving Medicare Accreditation in 2019. Enthusiastic about healthcare, she finds personal and professional growth in her work, inspired by her family’s nursing legacy. Christine resides in Holden with her four children and pets.

Dee Walsh, Clinical Manager at Oriol Home Health, has 20 years of experience specializing in geriatric and cardiac health. She oversees a team of nurses and therapists, ensuring each patient receives individualized, top-notch care. Dee is passionate about home health, believing that people heal best in their own surroundings. She excels in providing the teaching and tools needed for patients to stay healthy and safe at home. Known for her knowledge of community resources, Dee enjoys gardening, sports, watching her daughter dance, and spending time with her dogs.

Tara derives deep satisfaction from healthcare by connecting with new people and guiding them through the intricacies of the healthcare system. Known for her compassionate demeanor and ability to bring humor to difficult situations, Tara ensures that both the medical and emotional needs of her clients are addressed with empathy and understanding.

Abby Merow, a registered nurse with a BSN from Anna Maria College, specializes in home care for geriatric and adult patients in the greater Holden area. She excels in teaching, observation, assessment, and advocacy to ensure optimal patient care. Abby is dedicated to underserved patients and finds deep fulfillment in home care’s personal nature. Previously an LPN, she advanced to an RN to enhance her caregiving. Residing in Spencer with her fiancé and pets, Abby enjoys hiking and gardening.

Deborah Barakian is a Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant (HHA/CAN) at Oriol Home Health with over 30 years of experience. She has completed some college coursework at Becker College and Fieldstone School. Deborah is known for her patience and kindness, and she is passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in their lives.

Paige Spence-Berthiame is an Occupational Therapist at Oriol Therapy Services, bringing over 15 years of experience from acute and sub-acute rehab hospitals and facilities. Paige’s passion lies in teaching individuals in their homes, empowering them to maintain safety and independence. She finds fulfillment in the reciprocal learning process with her patients, enriching her practice. Paige holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology with double minors in Studio Art and General Education from Wheaton College, and she earned her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Springfield College.
