Nathan Oriol is the Administrator of Oriol Home Health, bringing extensive experience in long-term care and health care management to the team. A licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Nathan has been with Oriol Health Care for over a decade, previously serving as Administrator at Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center from 2013 to 2022.

Nathan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire and earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Health Care Administration from Assumption University. His dedication to providing high-quality, personalized care is rooted in his family’s long-standing tradition of health care excellence, as the grandson of Oriol Health Care’s founder, Eugene Oriol.

Nathan’s leadership and commitment to the field have been recognized through prestigious honors, including the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award and his selection for the AHCA/NCAL Future Leaders program, which highlights rising leaders in long-term and post-acute care. His expertise ensures that Oriol Home Health continues to deliver exceptional care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Christine Oriol Mahoney, QA Manager and Clinical Manager Emerita at Oriol Home Health, brings over 40 years of nursing experience. With a BSN from Worcester State University, she has cared for patients across all life stages and settings. Specializing in palliative care and home health, she holds certifications from UMass and OASIS Answers. Christine has played a crucial role in establishing Oriol Home Health, achieving Medicare Accreditation in 2019. Enthusiastic about healthcare, she finds personal and professional growth in her work, inspired by her family’s nursing legacy. Christine resides in Holden with her four children and pets.

Dee Walsh, Clinical Manager at Oriol Home Health, has 20 years of experience specializing in geriatric and cardiac health. She oversees a team of nurses and therapists, ensuring each patient receives individualized, top-notch care. Dee is passionate about home health, believing that people heal best in their own surroundings. She excels in providing the teaching and tools needed for patients to stay healthy and safe at home. Known for her knowledge of community resources, Dee enjoys gardening, sports, watching her daughter dance, and spending time with her dogs.

Our Home Health Administrative Support team, including the Home Health Coordinator and Scheduler, plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless coordination of care. They manage schedules, handle client inquiries, and ensure efficient operations to support our patients and their families.

Katie Standing, HHA and Scheduler at Oriol Health Care, brings over 30 years of experience in the medical field. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Katie handles scheduling and payroll, utilizing her extensive background to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.

Tara, an LPN with 30 years of invaluable experience, plays a pivotal role in assisting individuals at home with medical needs. Her responsibilities encompass coordinating care and facilitating clients’ transitions to home environments. Tara derives deep satisfaction from healthcare by connecting with new people and guiding them through the intricacies of the healthcare system. Known for her compassionate demeanor and ability to bring humor to difficult situations, Tara ensures that both the medical and emotional needs of her clients are addressed with empathy and understanding.

Abby Merow, a registered nurse with a BSN from Anna Maria College, specializes in home care for geriatric and adult patients in the greater Holden area. She excels in teaching, observation, assessment, and advocacy to ensure optimal patient care. Abby is dedicated to underserved patients and finds deep fulfillment in home care’s personal nature. Previously an LPN, she advanced to an RN to enhance her caregiving. Residing in Spencer with her fiancé and pets, Abby enjoys hiking and gardening.

Deborah Barakian is a Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant (HHA/CAN) at Oriol Home Health with over 30 years of experience. She has completed some college coursework at Becker College and Fieldstone School. Deborah is known for her patience and kindness, and she is passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in their lives.

Paige Spence-Berthiame is an Occupational Therapist at Oriol Therapy Services, bringing over 15 years of experience from acute and sub-acute rehab hospitals and facilities. Paige’s passion lies in teaching individuals in their homes, empowering them to maintain safety and independence. She finds fulfillment in the reciprocal learning process with her patients, enriching her practice. Paige holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology with double minors in Studio Art and General Education from Wheaton College, and she earned her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Springfield College.
